Account Information: When you sign up (via Email, Google, or Apple), we collect your email address, name, and profile photo.
User Content: We collect the challenges, team names, check-ins, photos, and comments you post.
Support Data: If you contact us, we collect the details of your request.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: We collect your device model, OS version, and language settings to optimize the app.
Usage Data: We track interactions (like button clicks and screen views) to improve user experience.
Notification Tokens: We collect a unique token to send you reminders and updates (if you opt-in).

C. Permissions

We may request access to specific device features. You can revoke these anytime in your device settings:

Camera & Photos: To attach photo proof to your challenge check-ins.
Notifications: To send reminders about your challenges and leagues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

Provide Service: Create accounts, manage teams/leagues, and process check-ins.
Process Payments: Verify Premium subscriptions via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

We never sell your data. We share data only ensuring appropriate safeguards:

Service Providers: We use trusted third parties like Google Firebase (hosting, database, analytics) to run our infrastructure.
Publicly (App Functionality): Your display name, avatar, and public challenge attributes are visible to other users if your profile/league is public.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law (e.g., valid subpoena).

4. Your Rights & Options

No matter where you live, we offer these rights to all users:

Delete Account: You can permanently delete your account and data in Settings > Delete Account.
Export Data: You can download a copy of your data in Settings > CSV Export.
Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile directly in the app.
Opt-Out: You can disable push notifications in device settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account: We delete your personal information (email, profile) immediately. Some anonymized logs or aggregate stats may remain for analytical purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

Buddy Bits is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.

7. International Transfers

Your information is processed primarily in the United States (via Google Cloud). By using the app, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for cross-border transfers where applicable.
